TAP TAKEOVER: GREEN BEACON, PASSIONFRUIT SOUR

At Green Beacon, they believe in the journey of innovation. As a proud Queensland brewery built on quality and integrity, flavour, balance and consistency are at the forefront of their brewing process, their beer provides a safe anchorage in any port. The 7 Bells Passionfruit sour is vibrant and fruity with a refreshingly tart finish. Try on tap for the month of February.

FEATURING: NOSFERATU, SOUTH MELBOURNE

Young Rory had dreams of hitting the Hollywood scenes, but realised it wasn’t for him. Luckily for us gin lovers, he turned his passion towards making incredible gins inspired by film and the arts.

With its distinctive red hue, Nosferatu Blood Orange Gin is delicate, yet packs a punch with botanicals such as Albanian juniper berries, blood orange peel, fresh navel oranges, wormwood and angelica root. Far from a 'flavoured gin', the first in the series, Nosferatu Blood Orange Gin is sure to leave you thirsty for more.

Nosferatu is distilled in South Melbourne, Victoria

ARQUITEKA

Apple Cider is made slow and a culmination of two years of thoughtful experimentation. It combines nine varieties of handpicked Yarra Valley apples, five carefully selected yeast strains, purified rain water, a little genius and aged from six months and up to two years.

Taste this new world craft cider from the Yarra Valley region at Bourke Street Green’s February Tasting Table.

When: Thu 13th Feb, 4-6pm
Cost: Free

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What's the dress code?

We’re not the fashion police but we do like the smart-casual vibe. Basically, steer away from thongs or tees with crazy slogans and you should be good as gold.

Can I BYO?

Bourke Street Green isn’t a BYO venue, but it’s not all doom and gloom. Our fully licenced bar is fully stocked with an extensive range of beverages that are sure to please.

Can I celebrate my birthday at Bourke Street Green?

We love a good birthday celebration. In fact, let our bar staff know it’s your special day and we’ll customise a cocktail just for you. Now, while we do have a no BYO cake policy, we do make our own ice-cream sandwiches we promise are just as sweet.

Do you take bookings?

We do accept bookings, but only for groups of 20 or over. We also don't take bookings on a Friday.

Can I open a bar tab?

Of course! We’re happy to open a tab for you here at the Green. Just hand us your current driver’s licence (or passport) along with your credit card until the end of your visit and you’re good to go.

Where can I smoke?

Bourke Street Green is a non-smoking venue. Smoking is only permitted on the street, at least 20ft from the front door.

Is there parking nearby?

The closest parking available is the RACV City Club car park (at an hourly rate). Entry to the car park is via New Chancery Lane between Bourke and Little Collins Streets.

Is Bourke Street Green near public transport?

We sure are. The 86 and 96 tram routes conveniently travel along Bourke St and stop right outside our front door, and the route 55 tram on Williams Street is just a quick 2-minute walk away. We’re also around 10-15 minutes away from Flinders Street, Flagstaff and Southern Cross train stations.
